|Can Computers Think?|
As a participant in Cornell's GSSOP program, I have designed an eight-week mini-course to teach at a local high school. The course revolves around the development of Artificial Intelligence and the potentials this field holds in radically changing our notions of thinking and of existence.
I have taught the course three times at Ithaca High School in Mr. Tom Mariano's Introduction to Programming class for the third time. This website is a resource for students participating in the mini-course, as well as teachers who might be interested in presenting the material in their own classes. All of the materials I used in the course are available here, including in-class presentations, notes and background information, and suggested activities for each lesson.
